in an award ceremony on February 25th, 2017 !
The U'ilani Fund (pronounced oo-ee-la-nee) is a non-profit organization that provides funding to individuals with breast cancer to use for complementary care in order to improve quality of life. We support individuals in Santa Cruz, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Hawaii.
The U'ilani Fund has distributed over 800 grants for a total of over $400,000 to women (and men) undergoing breast cancer treatment since the organization was founded in 2001.
The U'ilani Fund was created in memory of Marina Lee U'ilani Bermudez, a family physician who passed away from breast cancer in 2000.
